I vaguely remember seeing ads for a show on PBS in the mid/late '80s about a bunch of animals that lived in a forest in Australia. It was done with puppets, so they looked kind of muppety. I watched it when I was younger, but I also found it on youtube before. It's a British cartoon with more of an adult audience. The mc is a thirty-something woman, plain and squat very Cathy-esque. I saw this sometime between 1995 at the earliest and 2005 at the latest, probably sometime within the range of 1998-2002 or so. It was- I believe- an episode of a show like Outer Limits or Twilight Zone, ie an anthology-of-weird-stories sort of thing, with a slightly unnerving or unsettling feel to the stories, though I think this show was more ( Read more... )
